Vintage 1970s Green Lucite Three-Strand Statement Necklace

A sculptural vintage statement necklace from the early–mid 1970s, composed entirely of richly toned green Lucite beads in a layered three-strand design.
The beads range from softly translucent to more saturated tones of moss and emerald, creating depth and movement across the neckline. Barrel and rounded forms are combined to achieve a balanced, organic composition—hallmarks of 1970s design.

The necklace is finished with Japanese export silver-tone findings, including multi-strand bar connectors and a hook closure with a subtle beaded extender. The loop is marked “JAPAN,” consistent with pieces produced for export during this period.
