Return & Refund Policy

At Evergreen Bits & Bobs, every piece is thoughtfully sourced, often from private homes and estates, and chosen for its character, history, and enduring appeal. Because of the nature of vintage and consignment items, our return policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful of both our customers and consignors.

All Sales Final (with Exceptions)

Most items are final sale. We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Fit, scale, or styling preference
  • Minor wear consistent with age

We take great care to photograph and describe each item accurately, including condition notes and measurements. We encourage you to review listings carefully before purchasing.

Eligible Returns

We will gladly accept a return if:

  • The item arrives damaged in transit, or
  • The item was significantly misrepresented in the listing

If you believe your item qualifies, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, email us at [your email address] with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

We will review and respond within 1–2 business days.

Return Approval & Shipping

If a return is approved:

  • The item must be shipped back within 5 days of approval
  • Items must be returned in original condition and packaging
  • We will provide return instructions

For damaged items, we may file a carrier claim and request additional documentation.

Refunds

Once the return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are covered only if the return is due to damage or misrepresentation

Consignment Items

Many of our items are sold on behalf of consignors. Because of this:

  • We are unable to offer exchanges
  • Return exceptions are limited to the conditions outlined above

Shipping Damage

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Please retain all packaging
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos for documentation

We will work quickly to resolve the issue.
