A classic Parker Duofold Mk I International fountain pen in black with gold trim, fitted with an 18K Fine nib. This is the International size, measuring approximately 5 1/8" closed, with the elegant proportions and substantial feel that make the modern Duofold line so enduring.
This example dates to the later Mk I period, with raised but still uneven cap-band styling before the Mk II redesign. The pen has been cleaned and tested, and it is supplied with a new converter and ink, making it ready for use.
A refined, highly usable Parker fountain pen with timeless black-and-gold styling and a desirable Fine gold nib.
Why We Love It
The Duofold International is one of Parker’s most versatile modern classics: large enough to feel substantial, but compact enough for comfortable everyday writing. The black-and-gold finish is traditional, polished, and unmistakably Parker, while the 18K Fine nib gives the pen a precise, elegant writing line.
This is a strong standalone listing because the fountain pen carries the value cleanly without the condition complications of the rollerball cap or the later companion pencil.
Styling Notes
A handsome addition to a writing desk, leather portfolio, collector’s tray, or daily writing routine. The black resin and gold trim make it especially versatile — professional, collectible, and easy to pair with fine stationery or a classic desk setup.
