A beautifully cut American Brilliant Period crystal dish featuring a classic hobstar center surrounded by radiating mitered diamonds and fan panels. The deep hand-cut facets catch and refract light from every angle, creating the sparkle that made brilliant cut glass a centerpiece of formal dining tables at the turn of the twentieth century.
Produced during the height of the American Brilliant Period (1876–1917), this piece reflects the craftsmanship of early American glass cutting, where intricate geometric designs were carved into heavy lead crystal. The sharply defined cuts, serrated rim, and secondary star cutting on the base are hallmarks of traditional brilliant cut work.

Originally used as a berry dish, butter pat, or individual dessert plate, it now serves beautifully as a ring dish, small serving plate, or decorative tabletop accent.
